Medical Marijuana in Phoenix Patient Requirements
Adult And Non-Adult Medical Marijuana Patients
There are two different categories of qualified patients that can apply for a medical marijuana registry identification card. These include adult patients and those who are non-adults, under the legal age of 18 years old. There is one major difference between these two types of qualified patients. This is a caregiver requirement.
Those who are adults are exempt from the caregiver requirement. Those under the age of 18 years old are not. This requirement mandates than any individual under the age of 18 years old must have a legal guardian or custodial parent listed as a designated caregiver. Without a designated caregiver, any non-adult patient will not be qualified to receive a registry identification card.
